AB	En God maakte vervolgens die twee grote lichten en dat grote licht tot heerschappij overdag en dat kleine licht tot heerschappij 's nachts; en ook de sterren.

Trans.	wayy^a‘aś ’ĕlōhîm ’eṯ-šənê hammə’ōrōṯ hagəḏōlîm ’eṯ-hammā’wōr hagāḏōl ləmeməšeleṯ hayywōm wə’eṯ-hammā’wōr haqqāṭōn ləmeməšeleṯ hallayəlâ wə’ēṯ hakwōḵāḇîm:

AC	טז ויעש אלהים את שני המארת הגדלים את המאור הגדל לממשלת היום ואת המאור הקטן לממשלת הלילה ואת הכוכבים
ASV	And God made the two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also.
BE	And God made the two great lights: the greater light to be the ruler of the day, and the smaller light to be the ruler of the night: and he made the stars.
